Job Title: Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial data and present insights to management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and local tax laws.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Tally, MS Dynamics) and MS Excel.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
